Grown from Java — one of the most celebrated coffee varieties in the world. Java is an old Typica-derived selection that travelled from Indonesia to East Africa and Latin America, tolerant of leaf rust. It tends to a clean, elegant, often delicately floral cup. It's rare, too: just 87 coffees we track are grown from it.
